What We’re Exploring

Growing food. Sharing knowledge. Exploring what sustainable agriculture can look like in the Arizona desert.

Growing Food With Less Water

Testing ways to produce fresh vegetables, herbs and other crops in one of the hottest and driest regions of the country.

Increasing Local Food Access

Finding ways to get more locally grown produce into the hands of people where fresh food options can be limited.

Farming With the Desert Environment

Combining shade, solar energy, seasonal growing, native plants and desert-adapted , low-water strategies.

Sharing What We Learn with the Community

Turning the farm itself into an educational resource through articles, demonstrations, workshops & community.

About AeroZona

AeroZona is a nonprofit agro-educational project taking root in rural La Paz County, Arizona.

We’re creating a place to grow food, test water-wise growing methods, learn from the realities of farming in the desert, and share what we discover with our community.

Our vision is bigger than any single growing system. AeroZona is an evolving rural learning space where agriculture, water conservation, renewable energy, food access, and hands-on education can come together.
